Celtic Spirituality Retreat

Noirin, Owen and Moley join with Kimberly Schneider, The Manifestation Maven, for a Celtic Spirituality retreat in St. Louis!

Celtic Spirituality is a living, evolving philosophy derived from an ancient way of relating to the world. This mystical tradition of the west, embodied by druids, bards, saints, scholars and mythological heroes, holds special resonance for anyone seeking the face of the Divine in day-to-day life.

Explore Celtic Spirituality through poetry, music, reflection and experiential exercises in this short but powerful mini-retreat experience, which includes an optional casual concert Saturday evening exclusively for retreat attendees (this performance will be different from the major concerts—you’ll want to experience both if you can!)

Dates: Friday, December 2, 2011 7:00 to 10:00 pm
Saturday December 3, 2011 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; 7:00-9:00 pm optional private concert

Place: The Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion
7401 Delmar Blvd.
University City, MO 63131

Commuter retreat (lodging and meals not included)

Tuition: $95 (sliding scale option available)

Facilitators:

Kimberly Schneider is the author of Everything You Need Is Right Here: Mastering the Art of Conscious Manifestation and the audiobook Terrible Beauty: Poetry and Reflections for Precarious Times (both titles to be released December, 2011). Kimberly’s weeklong Celtic Spirituality retreats in western Ireland (KimberlySchneider.com/trips) draw upon her original poetry, local music, the elements, ancient places of power and her intense study of Celtic and Irish Spirituality over the last 17 years. An Adjunct Professor of Managerial Communication at Washington University in St. Louis, Kimberly also hosts the Conscious Manifesting Radio show on WebTalkRadio.net and is a regular contributor to Great Day St. Louis television show and Wealth Magazine’s online newsletter. Kimberly empowers disenchanted dreamers to manifest magic and miracles here and now.

In addition to their outstanding musical accomplishments, Noirin Ni Riain, Owen O’Suilleabhain and Moley O’Suilleabhain are experienced retreat leaders and group facilitators. Noirin is the author of Theosony: Towards a Theology of Listening and Listen with the Ear of the Heart: an Autobiography. She has a Doctorate in theology and gives workshops all over the world, often joined by Owen and Moley. The lads are scholars in their own right: Owen has a Master’s Degree in Peace Research, specializing in working with refugees in Ireland, and Moley has a Master’s Degree in Ethnomusicology, specializing in Irish Rap music.

These four lively, imaginative and light-hearted individuals look forward to joining their creative talents and spiritual insights for a rare and joyous mini-retreat on Celtic Spirituality. Space is limited; pre-registration required.
